The work
We start at the meter or the well and work outward. Static pressure, flow rate, and available gallons per minute set the zone count, not a template. Head spacing is planned for head-to-head coverage so you do not get dry rings between arcs.
Dead zones usually come down to one of four things: a cut wire, a failed solenoid, a crushed lateral, or a controller that lost its program. We carry a wire tracer and a valve locator, so we find it instead of digging up your yard looking.
Spray heads throw water into the air, where a good bit of it evaporates before it lands. Drip puts it at the root. For beds, borders, hedgerows, and row crops it uses noticeably less water and keeps foliage dry, which cuts down on fungal problems.
Georgia requires a tested backflow preventer on any irrigation system tied to a potable supply. We install, test, and certify them, and we file the paperwork with the water authority so it does not land on your desk.
Two visits a year is what keeps a system from turning into a repair bill. Spring start-up catches the damage winter did. The fall blowout clears standing water out of the lines so nothing splits during a hard freeze.
A Wi-Fi controller pulls local rainfall and evapotranspiration data and skips the cycles your property does not need. It also tells you when a zone draws the wrong amperage, which is often the first sign of a failing solenoid. We can adjust your schedule remotely instead of sending a truck.

Questions
It comes down to square footage, zone count, and where the water is coming from. We give a firm written number after the site evaluation rather than a range over the phone, because a phone quote on irrigation is a guess and you will be the one paying for the difference.
We pull pipe with a vibratory plow, which slices through the turf instead of trenching it out. There is a visible seam for a couple of weeks. Most lawns look normal again in two to three.
Usually it lowers it. Hand watering and hose-end sprinklers put down far more water than a zoned system with matched precipitation heads, and they do it in the middle of the day when most of it evaporates. A weather-aware controller cuts it further.
Parts carry the manufacturer warranty. Our labor is covered for two years on new installations and one year on repairs. If a head we set starts leaking inside that window, we come back at no charge.
Repairs are typically scheduled within the same week. A broken mainline or standing water gets same-day attention during business hours, because that is water and money going into the ground while you wait.
